I think the most memorable event of 2011 will be, none other than our flat selection!

We chose our future home on 9th December 2011 at 315pm and it will be at Tiong Bahru View (:

Our house hunting has been quite a smooth sailing one I believe. We got 1000+ for the Tampines BTO in May 2011 and thus unable to choose any unit in the east. Next, we dropped our ballot for SOBF in September 2011 and while waiting for our ballot result, we decided to give the Bedok Reservoir DBSS, Belvia, a shot at the last few minutes before the application closed. Lucky us managed to get no.148 for SOBF and the headache came when we got no.10 for Belvia!

It was quite a tough choice initially but after we saw Belvia's price list and sat down for an emergency meeting with our families, we decided to go for SOBF at Bukit Merah!

After consulting MT for fengshui advices on a good unit for both of us, I am glad that we got the ideal unit though Dars feel it's rather low comparing to the overall block. Hope our house can bring good luck to us! (:

I am looking forward to the day when we design our own house, shop for furnitures and most of all, living together with you! (:

I was the least prepared for V day this year as I was away in Taiwan earlier, I absolutely have no time to do any art work or buy present till the 13th.

Nevertheless I still managed to get the presents ready and up to standard (:

As i have work on the 14th, we met up for movie and dinner in Tonikichi at Orchard Central. The whole Orchard was packed with lovely couples!

We checked out the CSI exhibition at the Science Center! (:

I would say it's quite cool and i learnt more regarding the investigation process. But i think the entrance fee of $20 is too pricey.

We checked out the demonstration of fire tornado too! (: Said to be one and only in Singapore haha

Something to note that Dars is quite smart to be able to solve the Pythagorean Square and T Puzzle without much sweat! (:

1st trip of 2011 - Harris Batam

My 1st trip of the year is to Harris Batam! (: 1st time out with my best friend, Shanz!

It's a 2D1N package that covers 3hrs spa session and it's shiok-ness to the max! (: the resort is clean and the workers are very friendly. Definitely worth the cent!

We head out to Nagoya Hill for A&W cravings, J&co donuts and cheap grocery shopping.

Sun bathing by the poolside with cool breeze blowing is indeed very relaxing (: the great company also adds some good factor to it too! (:

Next trip coming up will be DK Taiwan Trip from 8th Feb - 11th Feb 2011 woohoo! (: counting down to the street food and chilling weather!

We went Universal Studio Singapore for NYE countdown party! (:

It's our 1st time to Resort World Sentosa and our 2nd Universal Studio location unlocked, Hollywood and Singapore!

How can we forget to take photos with the characters there? (: Kungfu Panda in USS!

The night ended with pretty fireworks that light up the dark sky with the far far away castle as the background (: a lovely way to start the 1st few minutes of 2011!

Of course we must take a photo at the iconic spot of USS! (:

It's a brand new year once again!

I am grateful for a good 2010 with a good job, caring boss, wonderful colleagues and lots of happiness with good health (:

I shall list the top 5 new things that happened to my life in 2010!

1. Getting to know my twin at work! (: I guess fate brought us together in DK to be contracted on the same day. I am thankful for her to be running the marathon race with us and always being so encouraging (:

2. Not to forget my 1st sales convention in AXA! Though it's just a short trip to KL, it's shiokk to go on holiday with everything sponsored (: Cheers to great friendship forged with my inner clique too (:

3. Dars graduation from NUS Engineering Faculty! (: it's a new phase of life and let's work together for our future!

4. A new location on the map unlocked again together with Dars and the Sims. It's Hokkaido, Japan in September 2010.

1st organisation retreat to Batam in July 2010. cant wait for Taiwan 2011 to materialise! (:

5. A sponsored Beijing trip for my parents in September 2010! Wanted them to climb the great wall of China before they are too old to do so (: glad that they had fun and made new friends during the trip.

In addition, I am happy to have achieved 4 out of my 5 resolutions set for 2010! (: apart from the fifth one to shed 5kg but i will definitely try my best to make it happen in 2011!

2011 New Year Resolutions:

To achieve next award level in company ie. Million Dollar Club (to continue to build up my trophies collection at home for my achievement)
Continue to be a good daughter, sister and girlfriend (:
Save at least $15,000 for my ultimate goal

I just couldn't get it started to blog about our Hokkaido trip in September 2010 as there were too many photos to upload or put into a collage.

Dars's coming back from BKK tonight, like finally! Hope he fulfill his task and bring back some decent loots for me (: sadly i cant join him for shopping spree due to my work commitment ): totally regretting the decision now!!

it's the last 2 months of 2010 where everyone starts gearing up for their final sprint to AXA awards and DK convention to Taiwan!

PS: i cleared my ChFC module 1 exam and is officially a Associate Financial Consultant (: yay! and now it's time to go full speed for this last lap! no more excuses!

My past weekend was indeed very slack with time spent with Dars occupying most of my time (:

After we have sent my parents off to Beijing on Saturday morning, we sent the car for a good foam wash and we manually did the vacuuming at the Esso station. I guess we were having fun doing that as all the uncles who walked past, laughed at us haha. Oops cheap thrills!

It's shopping at Parkway and back home for some DVDs show together (:

We dropped by Carolyn's place to pick up some stuff for our upcoming trip last night.

Special mention to guest appearance Travis boy! (: He's so cute while he dances to the music and we had so much fun playing with him (:

Can't wait for our chalet in November where all the cute toddlers gather yo! I bet it will be a noisy and chaotic scene haha.

how often will you sit down and upon self reflection, you end up doing comparison between yourself and others?

my competitor shouldn't be others on how well they have done but myself instead.

i am just too hard on myself on the standard i set to meet and on how i present myself to the outside world.

there won't be a limit to what i think is enough for myself. as i always strive to not only maintain but to hit the next higher level possible.

i need to learn to control myself, manage my emotions and be contented i guess.

as a result, i am leaving reality for half a day with Dars to unwind and relax (:

no doubt it's stressful with what's going on with my work now but i am looking forward to the KTV competition in September to bring home the top prize HAHA

Marina Bay Sands Tower 2 and Skypark! (:

After fetching babylim from childcare, we drove to MBS for a night stay. The room and toilet are spacious and nice!

The little girl was super excited about the hotel stay and ranting to go swimming after exploring the room. Off we head to level 57 for the skypark experience! The pool and view is amazing (:

A small update about my current stage: Work has been good, though with the downside at times. Colleagues have been really nice and i am totally loving them! (: what's more can i ask for in a job?

Been about 1month since i last pen my blog entry. Time flies and it's JULY (:

June was spent chasing after target to hit my mid-year bonus and also on short trips to Malaysia.

Went on road trip with the sim family to Malacca on a long weekend and also KY's birthday trip to Genting for some HUAT AH session (:

At the half-year mark and looking back, I am glad I have achieved some of my resolutions for 2010 (: I should sit down and reflect on the adjustment needed to my resolutions.

Next week will zoom past damn fast as I will be out of town on Monday and Tuesday. Dars graduation ceremony on Wednesday which is also my 23rd (: then it's product training on Thursday and work all the way!

It's time to stop talking about work and let our hair down for our retreat at Batam on Monday. WOOHOO!

Thursday was spent exploring the Singapore Discovery Center (:

It was our first time there and there's nothing much for you to do there actually. We are done with the exhibits in less than 2hrs and along the way, we self entertained ourselves.

We built a XYZ community out from scratch haha and dars mentality is to just build everything upwards! so our East Mall is of about 12storeys tall (:

We tried news reporting too! Guess it's facinating for kids though haha

We watched the latest Shrek 3D movie at the Discovery Center. It's much cheaper than the usual 3D price in cinema and the screen is huge! Lesser crowd too so definitely worth it!

ps: We are driving off to Melaka for the long weekend ahead! To recharge myself and CHIONG faster when i am back (:

The past weekend was fun and love filled with Dars and the Sims (:

Friday was COCA steamboat buffet with Dars. We were super full from all the meat, balls and what not.

After which we shopped around Taka and hop on the train to explore the circle line!

Saturday night was spent at the Sims place after my appointments in the day. PMS striked me as usual without fail every month but it's good to have him by my side (: though half of the time he doesnt know what and where went wrong with me haha.

On Sunday morning, I met a super fierce granny from the PRC land and my god i think she almost wanted to sweep me out of the house haha. Then it was seafood treat by Nancy at Turf City (: great time spent with everyone, i like! (:

So today marks the start to the count down of 8th May 2010! I hope May will be both a fun and productive month for me (:

Despite how tired i am after a long day around Singapore, i still must blog about today!

Woke up with a terrible headache this morning and thought that was a bad sign to start my day ): but NOPE rainbow will come after a heavy rain (:

Little kids really never fail to brighten my day (: after visiting and playing with Xinhwei's girl (damn cute!) in Bukit Panjang, i started my bus journey back to office for submission.

After all the paperwork and more paperwork, i head over to Paya Lebar for appt. Was worried that the unfriendly wife over the phone will be tough to handle but NOPE totally wrong! They were super friendly and nice (:

Then it was a journey to the unknown land of Potong Pasir. Lucky for me to meet 2 friendly girls who offered to walk me to blk 117 when they told me it will be a long walk as i am wearing heels (:

A cab appeared when i am in a rush to go back from Potong Pasir to Woodlands for my appt. The friendly taxi uncle actually charged me cheaper by rounding off the cab fare for me (:

My day ended with a growling stomach as I only had soyabean milk and biscuit for the whole day! Good job to dieting and my 5kg weight loss goal for Year 2010 (:

Last week we had our lunch date at Souperlicious at Citylink Mall. I have always wanted to give it a try whenever i walk past.

It's 37 months into our relationship official and i am blessed that we still have our dose of 'honeymoon' periods (:

We started our day at Esplanade for Korean Break Out 2010 dance comedy show. It was a sold-out performance and i think it's nice and funny! Next up I hope to catch the Chicago musical (:

We hopped over to Marina Square for some high tea love at Andersen's. Dars has a special craving for Coke float with rum and raisin icecream (:

After walking and shopping around, we adjourned to our next location for dinner! It's Prive, bakery cafe (:

I have always wanted to try long ago and thanks to my teletubb, I managed to today! The food is yummy-licious so a must try!

First time went singing with them and i would say it's really a different experience as compared to the singing session with shangfei or the d3 girls haha. They are really serious and emo creatures (:

Attended full-day courses and trainings for most of the days. Last minute preparation for my exam, yay both Carolyn and I managed to pass it! Meetup with my favourite ppg for some korean food loving at Square2 followed by Udders ice-cream (:

Japanese dinner at Ootoya at Orchard Central to mark the end of my product course with Dars (: we like the authentic jap food served there and i think that explains the super long queue every night. Oh yes it's tatami dining experience for me too (:

It's our 35th monthsary and we had a mini celebration at Relax Bistro. It's at 313@Somerset. Quite sometime since we last celebrated our monthsary. We both agreed that the ambience, setting and food there were great! (:

i still remember the time where i celebrated my 6th birthday at AMK Big Mac center with my childcare friends and teachers. the party was fun and grand in a kid's perspective.

12years later, i attended my best friend's 22nd party at Macs and it's still as fun and so close to my heart! (:

it's Dars 1st Mac party and he said he enjoyed himself too haha.

she said she's thankful for us adding colours to her life thus the theme of the party was to get different groups of her friends to come dress in their respective colours. it's really a pretty sight when all the friends gathered to sing her a birthday song! (:

Why does this always have to be the case?

I dislike to be at the mercy of others, to answer for something that's not my fault or problem. Maybe that's the sign for me to venture out and be my own boss where I just need to be responsible for myself.

I am super pissed earlier after a phone call from L and decided to vent my frustration over at this tiny space.

However after complaining to Dars and Shangfei, i suddenly lost my thoughts as to what i wanted to pen down initially.

That's the reality, the corporate world!

To summarize our lovely date last Saturday, we had yummy breakfast at Cartel before heading to NUS for project meeting and then to Pasir Panjang for some jap food loving! (: The sashimi were really very fresh and the colourful futo maki were damn good too! (:

We had a girls night out last Friday. It was a great night of catching up and fun! (:

We arranged to meet at Helipad but only to realise that we were allocated a table near the entrance and the music was too loud to our liking thus we decided to search for a better place for us to chat.

We crossed the Singapore River and head in to Forbidden City by Indochine. It's really an unique place for us to relax and update about our lives.

We sipped nice cocktails, camwhored and even fought with bugs haha.

We even went to the freezing cold ice bar where we down Vodka shots to keep ourselves warm. It's where I was shivering that I couldn't take a decent photo of Bel and Jingying.
It's also where a digusting, fat drunk Ang Moh came into the picture.

He kept coming over to our table to talk to us and trying to make friends with us. He even invited us to dance with him where he danced like doing some great Singapore workout. OMG FAINT!

To save ourselves from him, we decided to leave the place. We roamed around in hope to find a nice place to continue our great night out but we ended up sitting by the Singapore River.

Just got back home after sending Minsun off at the airport. The Korean got herself a one way ticket back home. I will definitely miss her! Shall start saving up for a 2nd round Korea trip, hopefully with Dars along this time round (:

I attended the first ever F1 ROCKS SINGAPORE concert at Fort Canning on Thursday! (:

Lisa mentioned that she had free tickets to the concert during lunch and straight after work we fly down to Fort Canning for this event! For Jacky Cheung, A*Mei, Soda Green and Big Mouth! (: They were standing just straight in front of me at such a close distance.

It was the first time i attended concert at Fort Canning and i actually like the outdoor feeling though my legs were aching on my way back home.

It was a pity that I did not bring my camera along as it was too last minute! damn but it's still a worthwhile experience and exposure for me to be a VIP for such event (:

It's Dars 24th birthday!

Our date on Sunday kick started his week-long birthday celebration! (:

We went according to my plan and head to iluma for some fun! before that is KOI time haha (:

Smart dars managed to get our new found Stitch love within the number of tries i limited him to (: the birthday boy had lots of fun analysing the different techniques to use and observing how the pros at the arcade.

Dinner was at this cosy bistro restaurant tucked at a corner of Bukit Timah Road. Dars likes the nice ambience there and not forgetting the food they serve are damn yummy good too! (:

It was just a simple sweet affair for Dars this year and i am glad that he enjoyed every single bit of the time we spent together! (:

The Sim held a birthday dinner celebration for Dars on the actual day, 23rd September Wednesday.

Dinner was at Gallery Hotel and we were treated as though like vips that night haha.

The last celebration was Dars birthday treat on Friday at his place. He invited his guys over for steamboat dinner and mtg session after that (:

Sorry for the hiatus!

I have been busy with work, driving, tuitions and dating (:

It's soon into my Week 3 of work and I would say apart from the terrible travelling, the rest are good! I just like being kept busy and learn lots of new stuff everyday! (:

I have chosen my driving test date and it's 6 weeks later on 6th Nov 2009 1.55pm. It sucks to wait so damn long for my test and i hope everything will go well to pass at one go! (:

With the EOY examination coming, my tuition schedule has been more packed with almost every alternate day filled with tuitions. But i am happy as that means more MONEY $$$ (:

So with such hectic schuedule, we are only meeting up once to twice a week. I am still adapting and adjusting but seriously not an easy task.

A recap of last weekend, we brought the kids to Changi Airport T3 for dinner. It was like a mini excursion for Shernise, Sherlyn, Enqi and Ah Yi totally. The grown-ups were damn busy looking after the running and hyperactive kids haha. But nevertheless, i had fun! (: Maybe i should adjorn to my dream of opening a childcare center haha.

We went Swee house for mahjong last Saturday and yay we won money! (: It's nice hanging out with the guys.

Yesterday, we celebrated Dars 24th birthday and the photos shall be up after his actual day celebration with the family! (:

It's into Week Three for Dars back in school. It's lectures, seminars coupled with lots of fyp research work for a Year Four engineering student.

As for me, it's more of adjusting my life to one without him always by my side. Thus it's one with occasional driving lessons in SSDC, studying for my finance tests and advanced driving theory test.

We went for our well-deserved date last Friday (:

We caught the latest HK movie at GV. It's about some undercover, traid and police theme action packed show. Dinner was my all-time favourite Japanese food at Sushi Tei and we hopped over to Bakerzin for their 50% dessert menu (:

I fell in love with their Strawberry Shortcake! (: super yummy and yes yet super sinful haha

Baby Enqi's call put a sweet note to my beauitful Friday (: She's just cant stop ranting to me on the phone haha

Saturday was doing farm-visiting and playing at Pasir Ris Park with Baby Enqi (: She's just damn cute and naughty too! Dars and I never fail to draw attention from those parents at the playground as i bet they must be thinking we are such young parents to have Enqi as our daughter haha

Dars's hectic FYP schedule is starting and we will be losing our dating day soon. It's time we plan for other alternative once everything's settled on his and my side (:

Long awaited HOT date!

Finally ended my special semester exams on Friday. Taking 2 modules in 6wks is seriously not for the faint-hearted, nonetheless proud of myself for "religiously" going for lectures/tutorial 4days a wk. (OK! fine...I admit I skipped probably 2 or 3. But great improvement k! baby noes. =P ) Now hoping I won't do too badly.

So...as baby says, we went on our long awaited HOT date today! Didn't really have the time to accompany baby during the 6wks and that poor thing have to stay at hme bored and NOT disturb me from studying. I know thats HELL for you. haha.

Started the day with K-Lunch at K-Box Cineleisure with baby having her personal LIVE concert. And of course.. i purchased the $888 VIP seating! Worth every cent though..powerful voice, emotions-filled - totally mesmerising! haha. I made a few lacklustre guest appearances during the concert but was down after like 3 songs. Sucks i noe but i nv said i was good at singing in the first place.

Afterwhich, went over to Orchard ION to check out what's the buzz about it. Pretty interesting place with a unique concept. Strolled to Bakerzin at Paragon for high tea..which presents baby another opportunity to continue her rantings on what I have "supposedly" missed over the 6wks.

Baby, I want to thank you for being so supportive of me during these 6wks, even to the extent of being a pei du mama on a few occasions. I really had great fun with you today.

Happiness Comes In Pair (Part 1)

I had 2 consective happy days this week! (:

My 22th birthday was a simple affair spent with Dars, just him and me! (:

Watched Ice Age 3 3D at Marina and we both felt that it was just okay for a cartoon movie haha. But we are going to catch UP movie once it starts showing in Singapore (:

Okay dinner was at Ma Maison The Central! (: It has always been a place that I wanted to try and Dars actually remember that haha and reserved a table by the window. The night scenery at Clarke Quay is really pretty!

We tried their Escargots and it's damn good! We like! (: and I learnt the skill of eating them under my master haha

Their Hamburger steak and Paella are delicious too! (: We absolutely love the cosy ambience there as it's definitely a great place to chill for tea or even cocktails.

I love the yummy mango mousse cake from Bakerzin too! (: Sipping tea with a slice of cake and chatting with Dars under the light is so relaxing (:

And also I love the present that Dars bought for me with his bedazzled artwork and not forgetting, the cute card and clothes from Nancy and Vincent! (:

I was told to reach home before 12am as my cute family arranged a surprise birthday celebration for me! (:

Today i went for TrueYoga free trial class at Pacific Plaza! (: thanks to Aprilyn's recommendation haha

My first try at yoga and i concluded that it's really not my cup of tea but it's really something different and relaxing which is worth trying! (: I bet my body will ache tml due to all the stretchings and bendings.

Next up i will be trying their Essential Dance class by instructor May this coming Saturday. Heard that it's about sexy girl moves dance haha I LIKE! (:

and yes i have in return recommend some of my friends so they can attend free trial classes too! (:

the past weeks that i am back from USA, i have been adjusting myself back to the life in Singapore.

the biggest problem i faced was the terrible heat in Singapore which i hate the most! thankfully, everything is better now (:

and yes, in dars words i have been actively working lately and that is to find a job! haha. job hunting has been quite a smooth sailing start for me i would say and hope things will just get better (:

okay back to some peektures for this blog after our USA entries (:

We went to Big Splash @ ECP on last Saturday. Had high tea at Old Town cafe before heading to LilliPutt for some golf loving (:

We set to compete in this 18holes indoor golf course and sadly, I lost to Dars ): He's really quite pro though he has never played golf before.

It's like touring around Singapore after you completed the course as each hole is designed for different places of interest in Singapore. It's quite fun! (:

day 16 of 17 - in SF

The next day we returned from Las Vegas, we went to SF for sight seeing! (:

First stop is the Famous Fishermen Wharf and Pier 39. We had seafood feast and clam chowder via the sea (:

After a good lunch, we went to the trademark of SF - The Golden Gate Bridge! (:

After the bridge, we hurried to Pier 33 for our Alcatraz Tour. It's really an experience and eye opener for me over at The Rock! (:

day 14 of 17 - Grand Canyon

We woke up damn early for the tour at 530am! (:

One of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World - Grand Canyon

A small hiccup occur and that slightly affected our mood initially. But once we saw the pretty Grand Canyon, we forgot about all the unhappiness haha.

Our first stop of the tour is Hoover Dam! (: It's really majestic and amazing to be able to build such a big dam at the location.

After which, we continued our journey to Grand Canyon South Rim! (:

The view is really spectacular and pretty! (: I LIKE!

day 12,13 of 17 - in Palm Spring and Las Vegas

Day 12 was shop-till-we-drop day at Desert Hill Premium Outlet! (:

We drove down to Las Vegas on Day 13! After checking in at our hotel, we went to explore the Strip (:

We hopped over to Planet Hollywood and their casino's having promotion so all guests were allowed 1 free slot game to win 2million! sadly, we did not win haha.

BUT dars won BIG MONEY at the Wheel of Fortune jackpot thus he treated the ladies to buffet (:

everyone said he is damn lucky to win big at jackpot haha! (:

and so after the buffet dinner, it was a night of watching free shows and also camwhoring around (:

I love The Venetian design especially (:

We went back to rest early as we have an early tour to catch the next day to Grand Canyon!

Day 10,11 of 17 - in San Diego SeaWorld and Wild Animal Park

After the fantasy world of Disney, we drove down to San Diego for some animal loving.

Our 1st stop in San Diego will be the SeaWorld! (:

Wow I am like so loving the animal shows done by them! It's definitely much much much better than those animal shows in Singapore! it's really big scale, there's storyline and humour in the show and also the stunts done by the animals were not seen before too! (:

We left our footprints at SeaWorld (:

The next day we head over to the SD Wild Animal Park! (:

We were supposed to observe the animals in the wild vast land area but sadly, we did not see much when we are there. and so we ended our expedition in a few hours haha.

decided to not waste time and drive over to Palm Spring to prepare for our shopping spree at Desert Hill the next day! (:

Oh yes and we had jap dinner at San Diego! (:

It's quite expensive but the presentation is good and the food's yummy too! (:

We were so hungry and finish the whole table full of food! (: yay JAP!

day 8,9 of 17 - in Disneyland and Disney California Ad Park

The most awaited and excited for me during this trip! (:

Day 8 and 9 were spent in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park! (:

it's totally like my childhood dream come true for me cause i always wanted to go Disneyland since young! (:

It's snapping and snapping of photos everywhere we go!

With the Disney characters and also the cute setting we saw around us! (: We were transformed back to kids instantly!

and yes once again, i was brave enough to took all the rides in both parks except for the California Screaming cause I wasnt feeling quite well. and once again, the rides were fun and more than just rides. the effort and effect created is damn good! (:

Of course not forgetting the Disney parade! We couldnt get the VVVIP spot on the 1st day thus we swear to return on day 2 to get the VVVIP spot along the Main street. and YES we did it! and thus we got the super perfect spot of the parade! (:

We were all dancing along with the dancers and the cute disney characters! (: it's damn fun!

day 7 of 17 - in Universal Studios Hollywood

Our 1st stop in LA will be Universal Studios! (:

It's really fun and i get to understand how movies and dramas were made by Universal Studios now! like King Kong and Desperate Housewives.

Imagine watching Land of the Lost on Monday with Dars and we were all thinking about those behind the scenes possible and not forgetting the show made us think of the Jurassic Park ride we took there haha

I am proud to say that i sat all the rides in Universal Studios! thanks to the sim siblings who dragged me along (:

I really like the effect and the setting they had for the rides. It's not just about the thrilling and exciting rides but more to it! (:

We started the day with a BANG and we took the Revenge of the Mummy ride! and we ended our day with a even louder BANG with the house of horror attraction.

After 1day not having a decent meal due to travelling around and stuff, we settled for a good and filling Korean BBQ dinner in LA Korean Town near our hotel.

The serving is huge and though we were super hungry, we couldnt finish them all. It's satisfying eating bbq, drinking beer, chatting out loud in such a cold weather! (:

day 3,4 of 17 - in SF

We went to SF town area on Day 3 for all her world famous stuff! (:

We took the cable car around SF area. It's not those typical ones at Sentosa where you travel in the air but more sort of electric tram haha. Both Dars and I were amazed by it as despite having a long history, it can still climb steep slopes very fast and well! and i really mean steep slopes in SF! (:

And i tried hanging on the cable car! it's fun (:

We hopped off the cable car at the Lombard Street which is term the World's Crookest Street! (:

It's inclined at an angle of 45degree thus made into 5 sharp bends and named the crookest street! I think it's a challenge to drive down the road haha.

After which, we head over to the World's Steepest Street with an inclination of 33degree! (:

We have to lean forward while walking to balance ourselves and the top of the street is SF's Coit Tower which oversee the whole SF's town area! The scenery is really pretty and awesome! (:

We sure did alot of exercises that day climbing and walking up and down haha.

After exercising, we pampered ourselves to Ghirardelli Chocolate over at Ghirardelli Square! (: They are world famous for their chocolate sundae ice-cream! and indeed it's super sinful but super yummy! (: yay!

We ended Day 3 with shopping in SF where we spent a bomb in VS, H&M, Sephora and once again Old Navy haha.

It's really a day with all the World Famous! (:

Day 4 is shopping at premium outlet which i mention in the earlier post. but before the shopping, we had brunch at IHop! it's the international house of pancakes and they really serve good delicious breakfast which i like! (:

With a super filled tummy, we started our shopping spree once again! SHIOK! (:

day 1,2,4,5 of 17 - in Berkeley

We took Cathay Pacific from Singapore to HK for transit before flying over to our final destination SF (:

We arrived at SFO at about 2pm and head over to Zilin's place at Berkeley.

We were so tired that we slept straight till 8pm. Managed to catch pretty sunset from her room (:

First meal we had in Berkeley is Bobbly G's pizza! (: it's yummy and special!

Day 2 and we head over to UC Berkeley to take a look! (:

The place is pretty and a total different environment as compared to NUS.

The greens, grass lawn and the building architecture is lovely! and we can see students sitting or lying on grass picnic-ing or studying everywhere. This is certainly not seen in NUS haha.

and we ended Day 2 with shopping at Old Navy! (: cheap and nice!

Day 4 was SHOPPING!

We started the day with car rental at Enterprise, choosing the car we like and after some test drive around the neighbourhood, off we went to Vacaville Factory Outlet! it's big with east and west wing and a total of 93 stores! (:

Oh yes, must praise Dars for his excellent driving skill too! (:

On Day 5 before we drove down to LA, we went for Berkeley's annual chalk and chocolate festival! (:

Now we understand why the Americans like sipping tea and watching life goes on a weekend morning cause we did it too and it's awesome! (:

The chocolate and chalk festival is really special and we had a chance to try out different chocolate made food and dessert along with many cute children drawing on the roadside using chalk! (:

We have reached LA after spending 4 good days at Berkeley and SF! (:

Our LA adventure started with a good long walk down the famous Hollywood and tomorrow, we will be heading off to Universal Studio for some thrilling action-filled day ahead! (:

He is really a nice, friendly and gently dentist thus for the past 1 year and 4months, i did not suffer from much pain, trouble or ulcers that most do haha

We went Pasir Ris Park for some playground madness yesterday with Baby! (:

Dars told me that Baby has been waiting for me damn impatiently at home and yes she called me twice to hurry me haha

I think her favourite will be the swing as she keep screaming at Dars to swing her higher up the sky! and she just refused to stop and move on (:

The hyperactive Baby just cant stop for me to take a nice proper photo of her and me together rahhh

and yes, Baby went QianHu on Saturday with Dars and family. She had lots of fun there, catching fishes and Dars was super tired chasing her up and down haha

Saturday night was spent with my beloved dearies for dinner at Saizeriya and chill at Coffee Club along the Singapore River! (:

Our dinner were yummy and cheap too! But do visit them early as long queue will start to form after 7pm.

After dinner was shopping at Meridiya for some Jap snacks then off we head to Coffee Club for drinks, chill and more gossips*! (:

yes, i finished my exams 3days ago! (:

and the past 72 hours were rather crazily spent!

it's was a round of club hopping from Zouk to Butter Factory back to Zouk on Wednesday night. the really long qeue for Zouk at freaking 9pm, meeting half the hall at Butter with a super packed dance floor and back to Zouk on the VVVIP list for Phuture.

in short, it was really an experience and real FUN night with the girls! (:

After which, i had tuition on thursday afternoon and then it was Sunset grill and bar on Friday night with the D3 girls! (: the place is quite nice and worth the try!

Saturday was crazy packing of stuff from hall back home then once i dropped my stuff at home, i headed straight to Dars place for Mothers' Day celebration (:

so there we stood last night, on the same stage where we were fresh-faced and unsure of what communal living can possibly mean for us, some three years
ago.
fast-forward, past the still-enthusiastic post-orientation days, the
barrage of committees we joined during both the term time and holidays, the
tanned ol’ days of multi-sports trainings, the late-night dins and our
encounters with the infamous black man in white, the extreme birthday
celebrations. past the tears from the possible stress of these out-of-school
activities, and the smiles from everything, and everyone else.

so here we stand, a little younger than the ones who’ve been around for a year more, but definitely no longer in the places of the young, where we like to fondly remember ourselves as.

some of us, flying off to the next phase of life;
seeking a job, a new house, and a new life outside. some of us, hanging around
just a little more. and some, a little undecided, for life’s decisions are tough
and how do you know when you’ve made the right one?

whatever it is, life around this place is never gonna be the same again. we’ve all been around for so long, and been through so much, both the ups and downs. even if we do not know what lies ahead for us, we do know that a room’s never gonna be just a room, a wing’s never gonna be just a wing, a block’s never gonna be just a block and the hall’s never gonna be just a hall.

I teared a little after reading what Shanz wrote on her blog for TH Appreciation Dinner. Indeed that's how i am feeling exactly, deep inside me.

After Dars project presentation, we head down to Tampines One for dinner. We wanted to check out the place as it's the hippest shopping center currently in Singapore haha.

After exploring the shopping center, we decided to have our dinner at the FISH restaurant.

Overall the experience there was okay. But i want to compliment the crew's good service! I like their salad bar too! (:

1st Road Trip to Desaru! (:

My first trip out with the Sim family is to Desaru, Malaysia!

I initially had mixed feeling about this trip as it's the 1st time i would be meeting the extended Sim family and i did not know what to expect. BUT the whole trip is awesome including the interaction part haha. Lucky Dars relatives are all very friendly and funny! (:

We went to camwhore around the resort once we reached! and i managed to find my camwhore partner apart from Dars and she is Nancy! (:

After lunch, we changed to our swimming attire and off to the pool! (: The cooling pool is the best remedy for a super humid and hot weather in Desaru!

The Pulai Desaru Resort is facing the South China Sea so we head over to the beach too! (:

I went to Elaine's 21st party at Aloha Loyang last friday after aerobics class.

It was freaking far to travel from Clementi to the extreme East end and i waited quite some time for cab at the taxi stand.

But it was a good choice made to travel down as i get to meet up with my CO juniors whom i havent seen for the longest time (:

We chatted about our lives, cam-whored and played games. Overall, I had lots of love, joy and fun! (:

I was busy the past week with i-dunno-what as things just passed by too fast for me to remember anything in exact!

But i know i went on PPG date on Tuesday night at Vivocity, Xinyao concert at Munchy Monkey on Wednesday night, Elaine's 21st at Aloha Loyang and lastly, I am back from Desaru with Dars and family! (:

Talking about the trip, it was superb! (: Though i went with an occupied mind with lots of deadline, i still enjoyed the relaxing road trip to the max! (:

Okay so I just a long awaited date with Dars! (:

It started off with night cycling from Dars place to ECP for dinner on Wednesday night. In Dars words, it was my ploy to get him to spend time with me instead of playing his games haha but he enjoyed it as it has been ages since he last cycled (:

Dinner was at Lagoon then we went to check out 1-TwentySix at Big Splash. OMG the place looks atas and the ambience there is great! We both agreed to double date with bel and danny or even triple date there haha!

On Thursday, after having lunch with auntie we went out to town! (:

Shopped around Daiso and PS after getting our movie tickets for Departure. After which we head down to Shokudo at Hereen for dinner (:

We concluded that only certain food are nice and worth it there so confirm wont eat those again haha. The clam chowder, omelette and teriyaki's nice! Sadly, we missed the dessert stall as it's hiding in another corner. But we will be back soon! (:

This year's DP was a great success! (:
The responses from the audiences were superb and they love our performance alot! double yay! (:

DP has really made lots of progress over the years. From dancing at Club Momo in year one to 1st stage performance in NUS BTC and finally NUS High audi, I have really grown up quite abit in term of dance skills, stage experiences and even my expresions.

I am not sure if i will continue dancing in the future but i am glad that i managed to end my dance life with a bang! (:

And of course not forgetting that it's my last year last chance performance with the Temagirls. I will definitely miss the nights where we practised till ultra late at night and the gossipy sessions we had! (: I will miss the craziness of Year 4 loves - Aprilyn, Clara, Shiping, Linda, Jacinth plus my Year 3 sweeties - Kuan Lye, Shiying and Xinhui! muackzz

Thanks all for coming to support - D3 loves, girlfriends and friends! (: They never fail to appear for all my performance!
Especially Mummy cuz it's the 1st time she actually watch me dance on stage! She praised and said i did a good job! (: She never knew her daughter can actually dance so well and be so sexy on stage haha. She has been really understanding towards me during this period and i just wanna say a BIG THANK YOU!

This week's a total madness for me!

As quoted, I am pretty much like going for clubbing every night till my neighbours complained that i am always not in. Dancing from 9pm till night for 4 consecutive nights is really crazy! And my dark circles are really expanding together with the serious eye bags RAHHH

Bump in session today at NUS High was pretty good and i was kinda shocked to see that the auditorium was actually not bad (:

I am glad that everything's shaping well and better now, showing that the effort put in by everyone is paying off (:

okay as of now it's 1 more day to DP!!! OMG

After our IT test last thursday, we decided to give ourselves a short break thus heading towards West Coast Plaza for a nice dinner! (:

We were quite spoilt for choices and in the end, decided to give NewYorkNewYork a try (:

The food portion were HUGE but just satisfactory lah. However, it's really nice just forgetting about those commitments and just chill out with Dars (:

A very hectic week ahead for me, with practices and rehearsals every night! ):

I can forsee myself sleeping less every night and the dark circles expanding OH NO!

Somehow i feel that this year's DP will be a better one, not sure if it's due to the fact that i grow and mature as the years grow but the items this time round is pretty nice and good (:

I will put in my best effort on stage next sat as my family, dars and most of my girlfriends will be there to support me (: and most importantly, I wish to end my dance life with a BANG!

Hope all who bought tickets to TH DP will enjoy the concert and not forgetting, to cheer for me! (:

Of the Sun and Sea we LOVE

The couple went to Sentosa on the Monday of Mid Semester Break. (:

It was a right choice made as we do not have any chance to go dating ever since then.

We tried out the Luge and Skyride at Sentosa! (: We enjoyed the luge ride but felt that it was kinda short. Before the real excitement kicks in, you are already reaching the destination.Definitely worth the try but on a weekday with lesser crowd then you will feel like you own the whole circuit, just like us (:

Next up we took the Skyride back to the top to retrieve our car. The view's really spectacular! (: It's actually much much higher than the one I took at Everland Korea! Of course it was the start of camwhoring session by me! (:

Then Dars suggested going sun tanning! (: And so off we drove to Palawan Beach!

Shortly after we chosen the good spot, I get ready and started snapping again haha before Dars get ready to tan! (: Dars was amazed by the amount of photos I took in that short while lah.

Tanning session ended kind of fast for us as the rain chased us off the beach ):
But nevertheless, it was a great and happy day spent with Dars! (:

Sorry for the hiatus!

I finally managed to catch a breather after all my hectic schedule and workload. Finally for awhile.

Let's recap on what happen for the past week.

Mid semester Break.

It was hell ever since the start.I felt that it was more of an intensive dance camp then a study break. I failed my mission terribly to catch up on my studies.

I lost count of the times I broke down in tears due to stress and my incompetent ability. But thanks all for the encouragement and love! (: Dars: Thanks for being there to listen to my complaints and rantings! Thanks for the shoulder and hugs too! (:

This week was filled with lots of tests, assignments and presentations. Busy Busy Busy!

Okay back to happier note, I am well and good now! (:

Turning back the clock a little, I joined Hall Production for the very 1st time and I acted on stage for the very 1st time too! (:

Though my role was just minor, I had lots of fun rehearsing with Minsun, Cynthia and Anli!

Jaded.

Totally worn out for the past few days.

Mentally and physically drained.

I am actually lost in my own world, with no sense of direction as to which matter to deal first.

And with tons of pressing deadlines due after mid sem break, it's certainly not helping to have dance practices every night.

How am i able to clear my to-do list within this week?

My stress and confused state is affecting both my work and dance performance in all.

I am struggling to remember all the facts that i studied, the dance steps for all my items and even the ever-complicated formation changes.

I never have problem remembering dance steps and formation changes but it's not the case this time round.

I dont know what's wrong, really doubtful of myself and my ability.

I hate myself.
